New one or the Sebring-based one?

I can tell you the Oppo review of the old one is just 4 words: kill it with fire. I had one for a rental back in April and quickly swapped it for a VW Beetle.

I hate that Dial-A-Gear, and the seats are, surprisingly, as crappy as a 25 year old Corolla. Found them quite uncomfortable on a long trip.
UConnect is still one of my favorite OEM systems, and you gotta love the Pentastar. The torque steer is largely gone - it was the worst I’ve ever experienced in the previous generation. Seems to get good mileage with the new 9-speed.
It’s certainly a good looking car, looking much more expensive than it is.

Last one I rented was in Destin area, so driving in that mess was making me angry enough. Having to try twice at parking spots because of the acrocious turning radius nearly boiled over my rages. It made my (4th gen) 4Runner seem downright nimble in comparison.

Did you have a low-spec model as a rental? That would explain the uncomfortable seats. The 200S and C both have thick leather seats that are quite comfortable.

Actually all of the 200s in our fleet are S or C’s (most are S’s) and all have cloth seats. They’re loaded everywhere else: double moonroof, UConnect 9, etc., but I guess these are fleet specials.
Its surprising because in my experience American sedans have the most comfortable seats outside of the Europeans (and Japanese luxury).

I didn’t know you could get cloth seats in the C. You learn something everyday!
